El Beso Beach, with the collaboration of the Insular Council of Formentera, organize a solidarity weekend to fight ALS from May 2 to 4

Beso Beach, with the collaboration of the Island Council of Formentera, has organized a charity weekend to raise funds to fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). This is the Beso Beach Sailing Fest, a three-day sailing event between the Balearic Islands that will end in Formentera.

The starting point will be Port Portals, in Mallorca, and the first stop will be at Beso Beach Ibiza, where from 13 p.m. food and an 80's party will be served. Afterwards, the regatta will travel to the last stage in Beso Beach Formentera, where a meal and prize giving will be held.

The participants in the regatta will be awarded not only for the time, but also for the funniest boat, the most supportive boat, the best characterized and the most viral. But that's not all, they have also thought about the final closure of this regatta and those who cannot compete in it, creating another amazing plan, the Beso Sound Festival, where national and international artists will perform in the Plaça d'Europa des Pujols. It will be on Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Saturday 4 May from 20pm.

The Wailers, Locomía, La Movida Ibiza, Els Suruba, Picoco's Band, All Sex, Böja, Billy Flamingos, Thre3evil and DJ Pharma will perform.

There will also be information stands on the state of medicine and how it can help improve diseases such as ALS and a food truck area.

All the financial proceeds generated by the Beso Beach Sailing Fest and Beso Sound Festival will be donated to ELA research to the following foundations: DalecandELA and ELA Balears.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain, brainstem and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.
